Maseno has had its fair share of tragedies but these tops the
list.
Yesterday, a student died because of the alleged negligence of
the school hospital ambulance.

The second year Zoology student, Brenda Udida had been ill and
resting in her hostel Sunrise Annex. When her condition deteriorated, her
friends attempted calling the school hospital ambulance which delayed in
responding. They had to call a taxi from Kisumu (30 mins away) to come to her
aid.
Unfortunately, she passed before the hospital staff could
medicate her.
This may not be the first case of impunity of delayed medical
response but should be the last. May her young soul rest in peace.
